Poet and artist Nasir Jones has captivated hip hop audiences for over fifteen years. At the age of seventeen he started developing his legendary album, Illmatic which debuted in 1994. This classic album put rap on a new plateau. The lyrics that were composed in the album matched with some of the top producers in music helped launch his career and has lived the test of time.
