I welcome you to the creative side of David Attaway. Ive been creating music since high school and would classify myself as a music producer. To most people I make hip/hop-pop music...But i don't like to say my music is one genre or another because when you define art the art becomes confined to your own understanding and exposure to the definition that was given and doesn't allow room for the listener to purely experience. I want the listener to experience with no preconcieved notions of what my music is. Im influenced by good music, period...It doesn't matter what the genre is because music is just sound, sound just waves and waves just energy. What's important is how you interperate that energy. I try to create music that breaks the boundries of what you think music is supposed to be and lets you just appreciate. It's our job as artists to do new things and try to take our art to places that people haven't seen or heard before. In my music I try to do this so that you can not only hear and feel it, but so you can visualize and see it.
