The target of subjectivity is to be classified in an objective manner, simultaneously, the task of objectivity is to be observed as subjective.... Everything in life is SUBJECTIVE

Artists Bio
David Jackson has been an active artist for the majority of his life. Since the age of nine he has studied with artists such as Donald Blanton and Anne Harhay while incorporating many different techniques to form his own eclectic style to appeal to the masses. Born and Raised in Springfield, Ma., the young artist has cultivated and refined his talent over the years to find his purpose and reason for displaying his work. Jackson’s dream and lifetime goals are reflected in his work. They are filled with social conscious ideology, distress, charisma, and an unprecedented approach to sympathy for the subjects he chooses. When observing both the street and the suburbs, they express two different feelings, but both also have commonalities that are overlooked by our contemporaries. Therefore, Jackson has set out to unite both lifestyles to bring a higher purpose with a clearer understanding of both environments. He has gained the support of many people in surrounding communities in his Northeast stomping grounds from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York and has set out on his lifetime commitment to ending social restrictions and condemning attitudes toward the less fortunate and the oppressed. In order for there to be change there must be a comprehension for passion and unity which Jackson is hoping his work will bring a light to.

Hip Hop’s Ambassador –
Jackson’s passion and love for art is reflected by the lifestyle and environment seen on a day to day basis in different urban communities. In order for those outside the inner city dwellings to gain an appreciation for the hard work and strain it may take to survive in these settings, he has composed pieces that involve the growing, powerful, culture of hip hop as a central base for his mission. Hip Hop has encouraged many ideas and realization of a need of improvement in today’s society. It has been an overwhelmingly positive presence in his life while providing the artist with a multitude of compassionate, understanding, perspectives which are relayed in his work. He refers to himself as Hip Hop’s ambassador due to his deep understanding of his generation’s achievements and struggles and feels if we concentrate on the positive attributes we can help provide a better place for future children’s creativity and upbringing.
